Reach out to the communities that experience barriers to receiving the A.A. message due to language differences, physical limitations, cultural differences, etc.;
Communicate with the public and appropriate agencies to inform them about A.A. accessibility; and
Provide resources and guidance to A.A. groups so that they can accommodate all A.A. members.
Contact Correctional Facilities within the District to inform them about 12 step work;
Facilitate in getting A.A. groups involved with these facilities by either bringing meetings into the facility or by sponsorship of persons in custody;
Stay in communication with both the Correctional Facilities and A.A. groups to assist in ongoing support.
Introduce and distribute the A.A. Grapevine & La Viña;
Inform members, through displays and other suitable methods, about all available Grapevine publications, audio-visual materials, and other special items; and
Keep the A.A. fellowship informed of ongoing Grapevine activities.
Visit the A.A. groups in the District to provide information about the District and General Service structure, and to invite greater participation at the District and Area events.
